All classes have been working to solidify music skills and to practice strategies that help the students meet their report card goals from March. Indigenous learning through the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's "The Spirit Horse Returns" has been rich and meaningful for learners in grades 1 to 3. Recorder skills have been fun for those in the grades 3 to 5. As always, we are here to create, move, sing and play!
We have several kids from Monsieur Jonathan's class who have joined the Mini-Chorale for May and June 2022! This is a song they are learning, and would like to access from home to practice.
The students at both ETP and ECS explored their creativity and applied their music learning in rotating centers in the month of March. They used instruments, manipulatives, art supplies, and literature to show their learning. It was fun seeing the centers through the kids' eyes!
